The Eleventh Hour rewatch
As well as all the other stuff, The Eleventh Hour rewatch/tweetalong was today! I thought I’d do the same thing I did with Vincent and the Doctor and gather up all the most interesting tweets from the cast and crew.

Today’s Doctor Who short story was this gorgeous little thing. It’s narrated by Caitlin Blackwood, aka young Amelia!
“Except Rory.”
I love this so much. It is absolutely damn perfect. Thank you, everyone involved, for not forgetting Amy!

This day ten years ago The Eleventh Hour aired and I met Amy Pond for the first time. To this day she is not popular, but I love unpopular women.
Happy anniversary to Amy, the reckless, violent, messed-up, anxiety-laden, so very dear companion of my heart.
God I forgot how punch-you-in-the-heart this episode was. Even the little fake ident the BBC guy whipped up made me sad.
Lots of people involved in the making of this episode livetweeted it – Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Tony Curran, Bill Nighy and Richard Curtis (from Emma Freud’s account). They shared lots of great, funny stuff! And then some serious stuff. Honestly the whole thing reads like a joint interview when you put it together, so I DID put (a lot of it) together-

You know the one.

Honestly, whatever you think of the episode… WHAT A SCENE. Over five decades of Doctor Who history (Whostory?) packed into a few seconds. With the theme tune! I loved it to pieces.
So being me I’ve gone through it frame by frame to pick out everything that appeared. (This gets pretty long, as you may have expected, sorry)

Oh man if that happened, it would make my year. Neither Karen or Arthur are filming anything right this minute as far as I know, so bring ’em in. And River too, so I can get the closure I never got with that whole storyline.
…heck, why stop there? Bring back Bill! Bring back Donna! Bring back Martha and Mickey! Have them all meet Thirteen and then Jack! Come on Chibnall. Do it for me.

A very happy day to Amy&Rory, Quinn&Gary, Enjolras&Grantaire, Peter&Harry, Bubblegum&Marceline, Star-Lord&Gamora, Gail&Erica, Faramir&Eowyn, Finn&Poe, and Disneyverse Esmeralda&Phoebus.
Most of whom never celebrated or had any concept of a Valentine’s Day.
Twitter is ablaze in speculation about what the Big Thing in this episode is gonna be. Man I haven’t been this excited about a DW episode in ages! So here’s my guesses for returning character:
AMY! Based on that picture I reblogged a few ago. Who knows if it’s even legit? But that’s the one I want the most.
MARTHA! The Judoon are back for this episode and they debuted alongside Martha, so I figure it’s a reasonable guess.
JACK! A lot of people seem to think it might be Jack. I dunno why, but hey! Maybe it’s him.
RIVER! Well, she’s connected to Amy and there’s still that photo to take into consideration… and I really want Thirteen to meet her, and I think lots of other people do too.
Man! This is even more intense than The Masked Singer.
For the past couple days the official Doctor Who social media accounts have been insisting that something HUGE!! is going to happen this week, and I kinda wrote them off (Orphan 55 was hyped up as something HUGE!! too I think) but then I saw this tweet:
Maybe that blue house looks familiar-

So, uh. IS IT AMY. Amy returning to the show (with Rory in tow) would make my year. It’s probably not Amy, I’m getting my hopes up. Karen Gillan’s off in Hollywood being famous. That photo might not even be real. PLEASE BE AMY.
