I’m not a super fan of how Spider-man stories set in the future always make Normie a supervillian bent on avenging his dad/his granddad. It negates Liz entirely as a parent and pisses on how Harry tried to ensure his kid wouldn’t have the same live experiences as him.

The Amazing Spider-Man # 37 (1963)
Norman Osborn’ first proper appearance in the Spider-Man comics. He’s already apparead a few times, but this issue is the first one really focusing on him.
On these two panels, Lee and Ditko are already establishing two mains of Osborn’s character’s traits :
1-He’s a sleazy, corrupted businessman.
2-He’s also a shitty dad.

“The industry is very indicative of where society is going and society is like, we’re moving in a more forward thinking way. We would want it to be a lot more open and not such a big deal but that’s the way it goes, but we’re glad to be a part of that stepping stone process of having it trickle down to more people and more point of views and not just one.”

New exclusive Spider-man: Homecoming clip on Jimmy Fallon
I love the look of total shock on Peter’s face like “What are YOU doing here?”
