Doctor Who fanfic: Loophole
A sort-of Christmas-themed fic (well, there’s a Christmas in there, anyway?) starring a very minor Doctor Who character who I always liked.
Title: Loophole
Fandom: Doctor Who
Summary: After Clara’s death Rigsy has to return her body to the outside world, and mourn his loss.
Notes: I took some inspiration here from the original script of Face the Raven, which contains a little bit of extra stuff about Rigsy and his partner and his life. It seems to have been deleted from the official BBC website but the Internet Wayback Machine caught it!

See I don’t actually know who Bo Burnham is (or I didn’t) but this song came up on a YouTube playlist and I fast became obsessed with it.

fourteen favourite shots: Moulin Rouge
I was about 14 years old when I first saw Moulin Rouge and it never really left me I guess. Just a beautiful, beautiful movie. Made even the most wretched parts of its setting look like a dream.
You’ll notice that the “Roxanne” scene features prominently here, and that’s because it’s the most electrifying musical sequence ever put to film. I will die on that hill.

fourteen favourite shots: Doctor Who season three
Ah, season three, probably my favourite of the whole damn show. I absolutely LOVE the shot of the Toclafane swarming over Martha, always have, and the shot of the Weeping Angel showing its true face for the first time had me shrieking. Overuse has killed them but those Angels were terrifying.
Anyway, I have a ulterior motive for dropping this today, because all these shots are from my screencaps site and I stuck a donation button on it today for the first time. I’m not expecting much but we’ll see what happens, yeah?
MCU fanfic: Peter and Peter
Man my fanfiction has been all about the Peters recently hasn’t it? This one stars Peter Parker but is actually about Peter Quill. There is no point in loving Quill because everyone on the internet and beyond loathes him, but I do it anyway.

fourteen favourite shots: Doctor Who season two
Doctor Who season two is another season I don’t really vibe with, to be honest. (Ask me one day about my complete and utter loathing for Ten as a person.) On the other hand it has Mickey, Jackie and Sarah Jane in it so that’s something.
Also shout out to Billie Piper’s acting throughout the whole thing, she was giving it her all.
