More sassy Marvel ladies!
Gosh, these are all so sketchy. D:I always liked Gwen and Mary Jane’s friendship, even though I’m not such an avid reader of Spider-man and that might have changed a bit since last I checked. (Retcons. Retcons everywhere.) I just really like it when women who both happen to like the same guy aren’t at each other’s throats all the time.

Oh lord. Oh lord, oh lord oh lord. I am so excited and terrified for this. It’s about time my girl Mary Jane Watson got some time in the spot light. She’s taken way too long on the back burner since One More Day and keeps getting over shadowed by a dead girl.
This is why I love Brian, is because he made MJ really special in the Ultimate universe, I have faith he can do so in this.
I am terrified they’ll go the easy route and do something romantic between the two, which is what I am absolutely terrified for. No.
What I’m excited for is the possibilities. Maybe Tony can take MJ under his wing and be that father figure that MJ never had? He can teach her how to fight for herself. AND, maybe she can be so ‘bad ass’ as they say, and she can help fight. In the Avengers or as a rookie. AND THEN MAYBE, this will solve MJ not wanting to be with Peter because he is a super hero. Because then she will be one too, and then her and Peter can be together, happy, kicking bad guys’ butts together.
Please give me this, Bendis and Marvel, please. Please do not ruin one of the best romances in comic book history (MJ/Peter). MJ deserves so much more to just be a romantic tool in your pocket, not to mention with a dude twice her age.
