The great thing about MJ is… when you look in her eyes and she’s looking back in yours… everything… feels… not quite normal. Because you feel stronger and weaker at the same time. You feel excited and at the same time, terrified. The truth is… you don’t know what you feel except you know what kind of man you want to be. It’s as if you’ve reached the unreachable and you weren’t ready for it.
#rant time: people say this character was only there to save only a damsel in distress who just ogles at spiderman like a 12 yo #but lemme tell u smth this girl was amazeballs #this is like girl interrupted meets spiderman #mj
was a depressed 20 smth who had gone from being the most popular at
school to being just another invisible figure and the movie shows thi #she
tries to friggin hard but fails but you know what? gets up and tries
again all while she feels like shit and amidst all of this she meet #she wants to escape and be young and carefree and not have to care that she’s nobody #and
i love how human and flawed and wonderful she is and i love how in the
second movie she gets to live her dream of being an actress but t #always stan for her #mary jane watson #rant over (via thefudge)

See, there are always two ways to find out the truth. The real, total and absolute truth.
Amazing Spider-Man #511This is my #1 favorite Mary Jane Watson moment, ever. I don’t know what this play is, but I wish it were real, I would really want to see it. This scene means a lot to me.
from my admittedly limited research it looks like they just made up a play
Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 1) #123 Writer: Gerry Conway, Pencils: Gil Kane, John Romita
For all the issues I have with Gwen’s death, I love the period after where Peter is trying to deal and MJ is trying to help while being way way way out of her emotional depth and knowing that she is and trying anyway.
