when Peter and Gamora are having the cheers argument, I think what struck me was when Peter said “you said to come here in the first place” and he had a point there and Gamora doesn’t say anything about that, she deflects it like he didn’t even say it. like she was right not to trust Ego but she was the one who insisted to go with him in the first place and yet she doesn’t face the fact. Like could it be that she subonconsciously doesn’t want to hear that she was wrong in what she said?
It’s possible! Poor Gamora understandably has a lot of issues about fathers. A part of her was probably really disappointed and upset that she was wrong. (Still, at least she got to help kill this one.)
