For a while I’ve been turning this idea around in my head, but since a) it’s nearly Christmas and b) the new TAG series has started, it might be time to unleash it…
Would anyone be up for a Thunderbirds fan-creation-athon that works on a actual donation system, with all the money going to the real-life International Rescue? Because I see people in the tags a lot saying “wouldn’t it be so cool if there was a real IR?” but there actually is one, and they get by entirely on donations. (They also Tweet about the show a lot)
If anyone is interested, I would work out some sort of system to ensure that both you and they know that the money got where it was supposed to, maybe informing them via Facebook that a small fundraiser was going on and providing the transaction notes from Paypal etc.
It could just be a nice thing to do for Christmas! So let me know if you’re up for it!
good morning! i am entirely miserable due to circumstances regarding my family that are far beyond my control…
but on the upside, new tbirds episode! oh man, so fun. i’m super glad that all characters were present too, that was like, all of iR. even gordon was there! i like that it kind of seemed the only reason virgil even went to pick him up was so he could get in some chat time with lady p. virge for best wingman ever.
also: ‘what’s shakin’ bacon?’ i am slain. everytime he opens his mouth i’m gigglin. and the friggen posh accent, amazing.
It’s always been my headcanon that Grandma’s first name is also Tracy
so she’s Tracy Tracy

THIS IS FINALLY DONE! It also has a proper title now, which I will edit into the previous parts.
Contains what is hopefully some mild satire as well as some fourth-wall breaking. Is an attempt at putting the whole concept of Thunderbirds into a ‘real’ future world, but hopefully isn’t Dark and Gritty with it.
