“It’s golden Father, the whole sky is golden. It’s beautiful.” The light from the meteors flashing past reflects gold in John’s pale hair and creates sparks of constellations across the wide blue of his iris.

“That’s my boy.” Jeff would reach out and ruffle that hair if he could. If John wasn’t a good three hundred and twenty seven miles away from Earth right now.

Excerpt from ye olde Bring Our Starman Home. Haven’t drawn anything in a long time, let alone TAG stuff because, well, yeah, but Kelly sat me down and made me watch the new eps and I remembered a lot of just why I love Thunderbirds in the first place. Please don’t re-post or pin elsewhere and if you’re not going to be nice please just leave me alone, ok. I miss this.

#312, because iirc it’s a palette called firenze which was on the front page of adobe kuler basically forever ago when I was the sort of fool who believed I needed to pick a colour scheme for my wedding.

*fond sigh* ok but I am completely in love with the concept of John using small portions of his ground-time to lecture at local/not-so-local university/colleges. He does talks on astrophysics or space life or laser communications or whatever they happen to need a guest lecturer for, and gets all flustered when he has all these brilliant students quoting his dissertations including the one Scott likes to use as a doorstop back at him and quizzing him on the finer details of the Tracy Quasar. The glasses are correcting for atmospheric pressure. Very scientific and not at all aesthetic I promise. ;) <33
