Thunderbirds Are Go

SO quite recently Jeff Tracy was finally revealed to be alive in the Thunderbirds Are Go-verse. Whoda thunk? Here he is:

And I dunno what to think, because I kinda liked that the first couple of seasons only had him as a presumed-dead ghost in everybody’s lives. That lead to some great character moments. So, hmmm… yeah, I just dunno.

(I haven’t watched TAG in ages now, I still love Thunderbirds but it’s just harder and harder to keep up with TV shows these days. The perils of being an adult with a job, I guess. Maybe I could try downloading the whole lot from where I left off and binge-watching it?)

“It’s golden Father, the whole sky is golden. It’s beautiful.” The light from the meteors flashing past reflects gold in John’s pale hair and creates sparks of constellations across the wide blue of his iris.

“That’s my boy.” Jeff would reach out and ruffle that hair if he could. If John wasn’t a good three hundred and twenty seven miles away from Earth right now.

Excerpt from ye olde Bring Our Starman Home. Haven’t drawn anything in a long time, let alone TAG stuff because, well, yeah, but Kelly sat me down and made me watch the new eps and I remembered a lot of just why I love Thunderbirds in the first place. Please don’t re-post or pin elsewhere and if you’re not going to be nice please just leave me alone, ok. I miss this.

Thunderbirds Are Go – Grandma

Only just realised something but the first American woman to go into space was Sally Ride and as we know the Tracy boys were named after the Mercury Seven astronauts, the first American MEN to go into space we can presume that Grandma Tracy’s name – Sally – was another subtle hint by the TAG production crew!!
