it’s done! finally !! :^
I got bored so I made a map of Les Amis significant interactions with/feelings towards each other, with dialogue from the Brick and some manip’ed character designs. (Mostly just heavily edited screencaps from the movie.)
IT TOOK A LONG TIME. Click the high-res button to really get the flavour of it.

#can I just cry #because they do okay #But Combeferre! #Killian didn’t get a whole lot of screen time but what there was was just painfully on point #and it was so heartbreaking here #he tries to barricade the door #he’s one of the last up the stairs #and then he holds on to Joly at the end like he can still protect him a little bit #and it’s so freaking upsetting #HE TAKES CARE OF THEM #HE’S THE GUIDE #(and Joly doesn’t even have a gun and he looks so tired and THE HAND ON THE SHOULDER)
Like most people, I want to make a graphic of modern-day Les Amis (race and genderswapped!) but I only have a few fancasts in my head. Wanna hear them? You probably do.
Enjolras: No idea, so I’ll probably stick with Aaron
Combeferre: Richard Ayoade
Courfeyrac: Freema Agyeman, because Courf has to be warm and friendly and fashionable, and Freema is all that, yay
Joly: Hugh Skinner, because of his permanently worried expression
Bosset: Noel Clarke
Feuilly: No idea. I want someone red-haired. (But not Karen Gillan! There’s too many Doctor Who alumni in here already, for a start)
Jehan: Even less of an idea

Grantaire: George Blagden (yeah, it could hardly be anyone else at this point.)
