Ooh, okay. *grins* * “Did you hear about that explosion in Japan?” The speaker was a kid in Alan’s English class. Alan didn’t like him much, so he just made a neutral noise. “And that was a pretty exciting rescue, huh? Saw bits of it on TV. Pity you don’t ever get to see the ships, that’d be cool.” Alan let him drone on. “My dad works for the paper,” the kid continued. “He always says he hopes they fail, just for once. Crash into the water or something. He says it’d sell more papers, ‘cos people get sick of rescues eventually.” Alan got up and walked off.

Seriously? *bright eyes* Um, Qui-Gon and Tahl? Maybe? Please? :) Thank you for the generous offer!

Okay, then. Here’s them as kids, on a random mission- is that okay? :) * They had walked literally for miles, and they were exhausted and frustrated and (most importantly) betrayed. No-one had shown up to help them, and no-one had come to rescue them when they’d been stuck in that cold, dark, cramped cell. They’d been lied to. They’d escaped only by luck; they should be dead. They came across the dead body of some animal. Tahl gave it an angry kick. “Tahl.” “Sorry. Shouldn’t have done that.” “It’s alright. I’m amazed you haven’t lost your temper to the point you’d hit me,” He smiled to show he was joking. “Oh, come on. I wouldn’t do that.” They walked on.

*filled with Tahl and Qui-Gon goodness* Lovely! I really like how you can see the early spark of their rapport when they’re young. Thank you! *hugs*

Okay then. :D Protection One thing that was starting to come back to her was the fact that she’d been sent home. Well, she’d always been fairly sure of that, but now she was remembering the exact feelings. The fear and fury and desperation. During a quiet moment, she found herself sitting very close to him, grabbing his jacket and saying, “Before we go on to somewhere else, I just want to…check something. You’ll never send me away again, will you? Even if it’s to protect me?” He looked at her. It was a look full of concern. “Oh, please say no. Go on.” But he said nothing.

Spider-Man Mary Jane and Harry Osbourne

Certainly. :D Black She was wearing her black dress for the funeral, Harry noted bleakly. Quite possibly she had nothing else black in her wardrobe; she was too cheerful to wear black. Or something. He realised that he wasn’t angry with her. Not really. Any anger he might have had towards her -or indeed anybody else- had been taken away, because now he was angry (to make an incredible understatement) with only one person. And that was his father’s killer. He snapped back to reality and saw her making her way towards him. “I’m so sorry,” she said, and gave him a hug. He hugged back hopelessly.

Okay then. :D * Mealtime He supposed that really, it wouldn’t do any harm to sit down and have a meal with Rose and her family. He just couldn’t bring himself to. It would be incredibly awkward for one thing- Jackie chattering away aimlessly about food or soap operas or whatever had been in her brain recently, or worse, asking him questions that he couldn’t answer. And Mickey saying nothing to him, but trying to make conversation with Rose- conversations about that new video game or this winning football team. And she’d be interested, and he’d be…worried. No. He’d avoid it. Along with Rose, of course.

LOL! That rocks. Thanks! :D
