les miserables -reluctantheroine

Aha! The good thing about Les Mis is that potentially you can change it in adaptations. Speaking of-

1) Remove the people in charge of the current adaptation, make me showrunner instead

On a slightly more serious note

2) Make Eponine a bit more… Eponine in the musical. She gets portrayed as the perfect tragic heroine and that’s really not her. (Also, I really hope one of these days a production or an adaptation has the guts to make her ugly)

3) Include Azelma in the musical. She doesn’t even need to have lines! I just want her in there somewhere

4) In the novel: Fauchelevent’s death is dealt with in like two lines and that’s terribly unfair. He helped Valjean! He helped raise Cosette! He deserved better, a proper death scene or something

5) Also in the novel: Less sexism would have been nice, obviously, although I gather that considering the era it was written in it could’ve been a lot worse

Oh god. Another very hard one…I think I’m only gonna manage 3

1) Maybe a few less episodes that’re really kinda surrealist and hard to follow, because I like to know what’s going on

2) Make Bubbline real, indisputable canon. (I mean, I know they’ve probably done all they can in a way, but…)

3) TAKE OUT LENA DUNHAM. (She played Betty.) Needs no explanation I guess

I’m kinda of side eyeing Tony Stark’s role in this, and I generally think Peter works better as a street level superhero, than as a paramilitary superhero like the MCU avengers are. But on the other hand it is nice that Peter’s love interest is a woman of colour, it’s nice that the group of kids he hangs with actually represent the diversity of NYC, and I think Tom Holland is a better fit for peter compared to garfield maybe -reluctantheroine

yeah agreed VERY much on that first count.

I really hope they give Zendaya her due and she actually, really is Mary Jane. Because I keep hearing different things. :/ :(
