how do you feel about how the MCU has handled other mentally ill characters?
I thought Iron Man 3 did a pretty good job. I especially liked that the idea of (gasp) taking medication for mental illness was handled sensibly…
But I’ve also heard that Scarlet Witch wasn’t treated nearly as well. I’m not that familiar with her character and I’ve only seen AOU twice, but that’s another reason to be a little worried I guess….

I have a very special place in my heart for J.M. Matteis’s Harry. He’s…yeah, to be honest, I’d say he’s the definitive version for me. Somewhere in my bookshelf there’s a Spider-Man book with some really great quotes from him about how he went about writing Harry, and I really need to dig them out sometime.
As for worst…there are still so many versions of the character I’ve never seen, but yeah…Amazing Spider-Man 2 was still the worst for me. Hopefully nothing will beat that. I just really, really hope the upcoming Marvel re-re-boot won’t make the same mistakes…
What do you think of Chris Chibnall being named showrunner after Moffet? I liked his episodes in series 7 but I hoped that they would have gotten a women and/or a PoC to be the next showrunner -reluctantheroine

But I am cautiously optimistic I think? If only because Chris Chibnall has given us some good characters over the years (Nasreen, for example) plus he did Broadchurch which was really good and had a fabulously well-written female lead.
