- when Melissa says something along the lines of “I just want to kiss a guy again” Phil repeats that with what sounds like sincerity, and doesn’t correct himself
- that scene where Phil 2 takes his shirt off in slo-mo whilst romantic music is playing is meant to read as Phil being jealous of the new guy’s good looks, but it does not in fact read that way, at all
- I thought about ending this with a joke but the more I think about it the more of a plausible headcanon it seems
