Leia stops by the mess hall before she heads to the cell.
She makes it most of the way to the door, further than she was expecting really, when Poe steps in alongside her.
“General,” he says, and she stops in an empty section of corridor. He sounds awkward enough without having to do this in front of others. “General, I really don’t think this is a good idea.”
I am in pain because I just realized that Kylo was perfectly capable of stopping blasters in midair but when Chewie shot him he just let it hit

Ok so I know I’ve seen a few posts about the Organa-Solos passing baby Ben back and forth and spoiling him rotten while rebuilding the Republic but also consider:

Big, loud, belligerent, protective, huggable Chewbacca toting his best friend’s kid around
You know what, I’m doubling down on this. Give me a Kylo Ren who not only understands spoken Wookie but can also speak it with a passable accent because Chewbacca babysat him so much when he was bitty. Give me a confrontation between them in Episode IIX where Chewy is screaming at him and Kylo Ren just starts irately yodeling back.

one of my favorite Han Solo moments is at the beginning of Empire Strikes Back when he has to go rescue Luke in the middle of his Leia tantrum, and some hapless no-name is like “sir maybe exercise caution on account of your sheephorse will freeze in the darkness??” and han bellows out of nowhere “THEN I’LL SEE YOU IN HELL!!!!!!!!!”

Supposedly they were meant to have Anakin’s force ghost and he was supposed to flicker between being Vader and being Anakin but ???? I don’t remember where I heard this and as such I don’t have a credible/reliable source for it

Han Solo is someone who thinks he’s invincible. When he’s Han Solo the smuggler, when he’s Han Solo the Captain of the Millennium Falcon, he’s invincible. He always talks his way out of things. He always puts up a fight. That’s the Han Solo that we as the audience knows, Han Solo who is tough and suave and practically untouchable. But Han Solo the father isn’t invincible. Han Solo the father can’t put up a fight against his son, he can only be vulnerable and try to reach out to Ben with love, and he can’t be charming or deceitful in that moment, he can only be honest. But he couldn’t talk himself out of that one, and in the end he didn’t die being a war hero, of the captain of a spaceship, or a risk-taking smuggler. He died being a father.
