‘Having fun there, Kid?’

“We were happy..once”
Something that I doodled earlier this week. I like to imagine the Solo family taking escapade trips to random planets in order to catch a semblance of peace and normality. I bet those where Han’s favorite days too, trying to give his son something he never had. *rolls* Please end me :’T

“Coming Home”
Its been an overwhelming two weeks with the new addition to the family. So here is a little something due to all the baby feels. I like to image Leia and Han coming home from a meeting (date) to find an exhausted Ben tucked in already due his Uncle Chewie’s (and Luke’s). They would be excellent babysitters :V
His character is basically a cynical loner who realises the importance of being part of a group and helping for the common good…compromising and sacrificing his own welfare for those of others. I had a list of about thirty five themes that I wanted to explore in the film, and giving up your own personal gratification for the good of others was one of them.

Finn aka Big Deal
I loved Han calling him Big Deal…
The Han – Finn relationship in the Force Awakens is so underrated in my opinion.
I mean, from the beginning Han knows this kid is lying. He may not know about the ex-Stormtrooper thing, but he knows he’s not Resistance.
And Han just doesn’t care. He finds him amusing, he looks out for the kid, he never judges him for wanting to flee from the First Order. Then there’s all of their interaction on the Starkiller planet. It’s just so fun to watch.
People love saying that Han instadopted Rey, but he picked up two kids that day.
Tbh, Han was probably just relieved when Finn had some sense, UNLIKE EVERYONE ELSE HE EVER MET.
#but seriously – the fact that Han sized him up in 0.5 seconds and tagged him#‘genuinely
good not a concern can probably help in a jam ignore anything he
actually says cause he’s running scared and kind of adorable#is one of my favorite ‘scoundrel’ abilities :) (@redshoesnblueskies)

George Lucas gives Marvel’s “Han Solo” comic the ultimate seal of approval
Brooks wrote in a post to Facebook, “Got an e-mail last night from Lucasfilm saying that George Lucas would like to purchase every original page from Han Solo #1 and #2. Surreal is an understatement.”
