I finally got to debut my Smith and Jones variant of my Tenth Doctor cosplay at 2016 Leicester Comic Con. The event was much smaller than what I’m used to, but that didn’t mean it was a disappointment. Not at all! For the most part I wound up playing video games, and let’s face it… Who WOULDN’T spend a day playing retro games?
It was a nice surprise to see people’s reactions. With the event being held in a venue that’s in the city centre, I got a lot of looks as I walked through the high street which can be a bit unnerving for me at times… And bless the woman who bumped into me at a corner and saw my outfit shouted, “I LIKE IT YOUNG MAN!” (Young man!!) and the girl serving me at McDonalds who fangirled and got told off by her boss xD
