Personal headcanon: Peter’s swear-ratings are very messed up, by Terran standards. His mom always taught him that ‘a-hole’ was a Bad Word, but he didn’t really know ‘big kid’ cusses until he got to space and learned their Xandarian equivalents. So he’s a very liberal user of ‘fuck’ and ‘shit’, but he saves ‘a-hole’ and ‘jerkass’ for special occasions.
