(is there even a question here)

Honestly, all of Les Amis would have serious problems with working for S.H.I.E.L.D., not the least of which are S.H.I.E.L.D.’s emphasis on subterfuge and having to answer to that pesky World Security Council. They would have a polite enough chat with Agent Coulson, but I think they would ultimately decline his offer. And file it away for later, because they wouldn’t let that shadowy government agency thing slide for long either.

…it would take a while to get the Destroyer gun away from ‘Ferre, though.

It is a universally agreed truth, isn’t it, that Combeferre is the ultimate badass nerd bamf action hero?

Combeferre/Various Weaponry OTP.

Combeferre/ Entire national arsenal  HECK YES. That is definitely the grin of a man in love. And I mean, it’s there in the Brick, THEY’RE SO CANON.

(runs and never stops running)

If someone were to do an avengers AU we would have drunk R (tony) and our wonderful captain Enjolras and Com would be a combo of Nick Furry and Coulson and kick all the ass so they wouldn’t even have to assemble a team because it would all be taken care of.

BUT NO THERE HAS TO BE A TEAM

because BaThorel COME ON.

A photoset dedicated to the underrated, unsuperpowered, and often unnamed characters of Marvel movies who either supported others in their times of need, or fought alone for what they thought was right:

The German man (The Avengers): Stood up alone against an Actual God
The train passengers (Spider-Man 2): Saved Spider-Man and then defended him, completely unarmed, against a very armed supervillain
Christine Everhart (Iron Man): Demanded accountability from Tony Stark, and it was also thanks to her he got to Gulmira as fast as he did
Ursula Ditkovich (Spider-Man 2&3): Offered Peter food and friendship at times when he really needed it
Mr Ditkovich (Spider-Man 2&3): Not only tolerated, but liked and cared about his difficult tenant
Alicia Masters (Fantastic Four): Made Ben Grimm realise he was still human and showed him love and kindness
Stanley (The Incredible Hulk): Gave Bruce a room, a job and a friendly ear
The old security guard (The Avengers): Helped Bruce out and gave him some (sadly deleted) advice
The crane operators (The Amazing Spider-Man): Did what they could to repay the person who helped them
The people on the Queensboro Bridge (Spider-Man): Risked their lives to try and stop the Green Goblin
Martina (The Incredible Hulk): Didn’t give Bruce away to Blonsky’s men
Travis and Heather Hudson (Wolverine): Offered kindness to a stranger and died for it

This scene will forever give me shivers

THE most underrated scene in the entire movie. It was perfect. And do you know how often I see gif sets of it? This is the second one I’ve seen since the movie came out (It’s been over 5 months, now).

So let’s just pause for a moment from reblogging gifs of Tony’s sass, Loki’s sex appeal, or Bruce’s fluffiness and just appreciate this nameless, old, German guy and how, even though he knew he would probably die, he stood up to a tyrant to prove that the human race wouldn’t give up their freedom so easily.

Chris Evans and Stan Lee on the set of The Avengers

#this makes me really sad #because if you ignore the wiring and all the cameras and such #it looks like steve was just at that cafe #and he just happened to encounter one of his old friends from before #and at first he doesn’t recognize him because the man is short and wrinkled and old #but then he looks into his eyes #and they’re a little more worn and a little more sad #but he knows those eyes #and he remembers the laughter that used to play in those eyes #and when the man recognizes him #at first it’s awkward and uncomfortable #because how do you tell what would be an old friend that you’re just like you were when he last saw you #seventy years ago #but then he just gives you this small grin #and he’s got that same laughter in his eyes #and he says ‘long time no see huh rogers’ #and then for just a couple of minutes they’re laughing and talking as if nothing ever happened #as if seventy years hadn’t happened #and in the back of his head steve knows that it’s not the same and that it should be weird #but just for a few minutes#he lets himself forget #lets himself pretend #and just for a few minutes #the future isn’t so bad

make me cry why don’t you
