^^ thank you

MJ/Gwen if I’m not too late please!

windona:

A/N: It lasts until midnight EST!

The music was bopping in the club. Multicolored lights drenched the club, making even the dark areas look bright and cheery.

Gwen laughed as MJ put her hands on Gwen’s hips, and they swayed to the music. Gwen responded by putting her arms on MJ’s shoulder, and threading her fingers through MJ’s hair.

It was a light, airy night. No sadness, no heaviness, just fun.

The music sped up, and their dancing tempo sped up in return. Gwen tugged slightly, then configured herself so she pulled MJ into a half turn, leading to MJ’s back pressing up against Gwen’s chest.

“Love you cherry,” Gwen said against MJ’s ear.

MJ laughed. “Love you too,” she said, kissing Gwen in the middle of the club.

Hello friends, wanna help me?

I am preparing a discussion panel for a DW con (lol, it begins tomorrow, and I am starting only now. Good job, me!). The topic is Moffat’s female characters. I wanna present general negative opinions about Moffat’s ladies or his writing of female characters and explain why I think these are not true. I have the basics (”they are all too perfect”, “they are all the same”, “Moffat was always against the female Doctor”, “it’s Doctor who, not companion who“ etc), but I need as many as possible. Suggestions of things that might not have crossed my mind?

Please help me. I will pay you. (I won’t, I have no money, but you know, friendship and stuff…)

One big one is the whole, “They’re Mary Sues,” thing.  You could talk about how the phrase “Mary Sue” has been distorted, and how it’s basically a criticism that needs to be retired.  You may have that covered with “they are all too perfect,” though.

@borntosavethedoctor

I really wish I’d seen this yesterday because you’re probably at the convention now and this will make little difference. Nevertheless, for future reference please check out:

Our Godawful Lazy Remake Culture

sarah531:

That Last Man on Earth fanfic. Ha, I did it! And mostly without crying!

Title: Our Godawful Lazy Remake Culture
Rating: God knows. PG-13? It gets kinda gross in its descriptions every now and then. Also, well, you’ve seen the show
Fandom: The Last Man on Earth (TV)
Characters/ships: Mike, Erica, Mike/Erica (well, sort of)
Summary: Mike forbade his brother to watch him die, but he didn’t forbid Erica.

*

1. Mike

The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door.

Actually, most of that statement is inaccurate. Mike wasn’t the last man on Earth, although it would have been easier if it had been, and it wasn’t a knock, it was more like a pounding. He was in a room though. Hey, it’s a good opener, just go with it.

“Phil?” Mike asked. It came out as a sort of croak. It wouldn’t be Phil, he had promised. Maybe it was Death. Maybe it was the Terry Pratchett version of Death, which Mike had always hoped to be the real one. That would be pretty cool.

#WHAT THE!!!I AM UPSET I DIDN’T ASK FOR THESE EMOTIONS!#UPSET!!!!!#;akflj also this is amazing

I still can’t decide if I like Spiderman 3 or not. Someone let me know.

Why is he so bad at being bad? Or is Tobey to blame? I’m so confused by this dance scene.

Not Tobey. Blame the producers.

@sarah531‘s themarysue article on gender and the ramniverse mmovies is a pretty good examination of peter’s behavior in this film. I think like she mentions Spider-man 3 shows Peter’s “evil” in an interesting way by having it highlight kinda of toxic male nerd bahaviour towards women

:D
