if you can, please donate to or share this fundraiser from my dear friend britt’s mother. britt’s sister, savannah, is a 23-year-old woman with down syndrome and their mom needs to pay lawyer fees in order to receive legal guardianship of her daughter now that savannah has come of age. adults with developmental disabilities are incredibly vulnerable to systematic harm and neglect. it’s therefore really important that their mom has legal guardianship so she can make sure that savannah always has the support and advocacy that she needs. 

their mother cannot do this without a lawyer because not only does she suffer from chronic illness, but she needs to get legal guardianship without involving savannah’s extremely abusive biological father. their father is, obviously, another reason why this legal guardianship is so crucial– their family needs to keep savannah safe. please, please donate or share! thank you.

Mother of Navy Vet Shot at 30 Times by Police Begs For Justice

This video was posted by the mother of India Kager, who was shot 30 times by the police. One more unheard story of a black woman executed by the police for nothing. Moreover, for a really long time Mass Media didn’t have any information about this case. 

In September  India Kager, a 27-year-old Navy veteran from College Park, Maryland, was sitting with her boyfriend and 4-month-old son, Roman.

Perry was a “person of interest” in a  homicide, according to the police. They additionally claim that they had “confidential information” that he “was going to” commit a “violent crime.” But that’s about all they’re willing to say at this time to justify the incident.

Kager had nothing to do with her boyfriends crimes – past or future.


However,  officers began firing rounds that killed both Perry and Kager, indiscriminately. The baby, however, managed to survive – no thanks to the police who sprayed bullets wildly a the car.

Police didn’t explain anything and no justice for her daughter happened, so she is begging for it.

[*] 2 Acer laptops (one old & useless, one new to replace the old one) + chargers
[*] 1 MacBook Pro, 13" with a purple sticker reading “a list of things that can kill people 1. Conceivably anything 2. Not guns” from WTNV NRA (it’s a satirical sticker) + charger
[*] 1 Xbox One
[*] 1 Xbox 360
[*] 1 Wii
[*] 1 32" alba television, approx 8 years old
[*] 15 Xbox one & Xbox 360 games including Fable Anniversary, Rise of the Tomb Raider, FIFA16, NBA 2k16, Dragon Age Origins, and others
[*] 1 Seagate external hard drive
[*] 1 Black purse with gold plating by handles
[*] 1 iPhone 4s (black with black case)

Obviously we’re really upset but the most important things are my MacBook (which has my dissertation and uni notes on) and the Xbox one, as that is on loan from a friend

Hi everyone, as you might have seen on previous posts of mine, I’m completely bed bound from an accident that’s left me with a serous neurological condition.

I’ve been on the verge of homelessness for almost a year; as I’m not yet able to receive the all disability services for which I am eligible (for various reasons) I have had I rely on donations as my only means of survival. I need to cover rent, debts to private nursing agencies, and ongoing healthcare costs. 

I am also trying to save up for some medicolegal assessments and an expert report of the staircase I slipped down. [Further details: 1 2 3 ] This is so that I can sue for compensation for the accident that caused my current level of disability. The compensation could potentially be millions of dollars if I win but I need as much help as I can get now to fund the case.

Chico was seriously injured and his medical bills are mounting. Hey guys, serious post here. One of my closest friends, Kayddie, is terrified out of her wits over this car accident that occurred, nearly losing both her mother and her dog, the only two she lives with, just yesterday. It would mean the world to have anyone who would be willing to donate to help aid her with the medical bills.

Update this morning, February 6th. Kayddie called me this morning to inform me news about her situation. It’s rough, and she truly needs all the help she can get. As of right now, Kayddie is the only one who can take care of her dog, Chico whom needs medication and must have his breaths counted because of his condition. Her family is hurting and without the help to raise money to cover for these medical bills, she wont be able to have the great last semester of high school she deserves.

I love Kayddie, she’s helped me through so much. She is honest to God, one of the most strongest most amazing people I’ve come to know and care for. And I’m more than grateful to have her as my close friend. To see this happening to someone so wonderful, I’ve just got to reach out to others who may also lend a helping hand in this situation.

Planned Parenthood is giving out FREE water filters to Flint residents. 

As you might have heard, Flint is currently undergoing a water crises due to negligent city officials.  

The crisis is causing elevated levels of lead in children. It is not safe for ANYONE to drink. 

Once again, Planned Parenthood comes through for community health. 

PLEASE boost this one especially because it’s one of the only major resources not requiring ID and denying undocumented immigrants

I’m permanently bed bound with a disability from an accident, which renders me unable to work (medical evidence linked).

I only receive $197.65/week in social security payments.

A nursing agency has threatened to take immediate legal action if I fail to meet repayments of $200/week for outstanding invoices.** I also have other nursing care repayment obligations, together these total $500/week.

I need to pay $490/week in private rent. I would immediately become homeless if I cannot pay this and this will place me in a life threatening situation with my level of disability.
