It had appealed to his Romantic sensibilities, and so -he decided- needed to be shared with his friends.
— Much later, after they’d doused the fires, they agreed that the feasting and the apples and mumming had been fun, but that divination games were perhaps not quite suited for cramped, poorly ventilated rooms with highly combustible decor… and certainly should not again be attempted in the presence of Lesgles. If it hadn’t been for the various mind-altering smokes wafting around said rooms at the time, they might never even have considered doing it.
