For Halloween and my last day of 30 days of Spider-Man villains I give you… HARRY OSBORN AKA THE SECOND GREEN GOBLIN!!! After learning that his father, Norman Osborn, the original Goblin was killed by Spider-Man, Harry vows vengeance. He then learns that his best pal Peter Parker is in fact the Spider-Man and all hell breaks loose. He fights Spider-Man as the new Green Goblin and loses. But Harry gets help and is able to temporarily purge himself of the Goblin. Very now and then it comes back, as it did with his father and eventually it leads to Harry’s death. But before ehe dies, he gets to us the Green Goblin name as a hero.
First appearance The Amazing Spider-Man Vol. I # 31 December 1965. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
First appearance as the Green Goblin the Amazing Spider-Man Vol.I #136 September 1974.
Do you think Emily in the Ramni-verse films ever tried to reach out to Harry after she left Norman? -reluctantheroine
Alas, I think she probably died before she got the chance. (Either that or she was a terrible mother, and I Will Not Accept That.)
You know how everyone always goes on about how Harry and Norman Osborn have cornrows? It’s been a joke for ages, it was even a joke in the Deadpool comics I think, but –
– maybe they’re just both biracial? There’s nothing to contradict that as far as I know, although I know nothing about hair in general, but…it seems plausible? And – and – this is a young-ish Harry in Spider-Gwen:

He doesn’t really look like a white kid to me.
