sevi007:
Extended Ravager math scene
From James Gunn’s Facebook
OMFG Yondu is so, so done with this, you can literally see him giving up at one point. It’s not worth it, they ain’t gonna learn their numbers, he isn’t gonna try, just going to silently endure it.
(I’m glad at least someone was able to teach Peter how to do math at some point, because a big part of the crew obviously can’t do it.)
snippets of interesting stuff from the GOTG2vol2 commentary
(because the blu-ray finally came out in the UK today, hooray)
-Gunn refers to Yondu as a “lost pirate” which really needs to be the title of someone’s RP blog immediately
-Ego is whistling “Brandy” when he pees in the woods, which I never noticed before
-According to Gunn, Rocket is pretty blase about the value of his own life and doesn’t much care if he dies, which is why he mocks Taserface and the Ravagers right to their faces, and that is INCREDIBLY SAD :(
-There were 500(!) “Meredith Quill songs” originally, which I very much appreciate
-Gunn is full of praise for Pom Klementieff, which is nice
-There was a scene cut from the first movie where Drax sees a picture of a beautiful human woman and instantly says she’s repulsive, which I really wish had been left in, because it makes the running joke about Drax finding Mantis ugly seem a lot less personally cruel to her
-Ego takes on the forms of all the other species he breeds with, which I think everyone guessed but anyway
-There was almost a Starmora kiss as the end, but obviously there wasn’t (which I think was the best choice really)
-Karen Gillan improvised that little fist-raise when Gamora hugs her ;-;
