#I love this shot but I wonder if there’s something symbolic about this? At first I thought it was representative of Amelia but #but maybe it’s her desire for another child with Rory? I feel like the display of the hair is incredibly important. #But of course I’m reading into it too much. Maybe it’s just a gorgeous shot #I HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH THE PONDS HAVING ANOTHER BABY THEY CAN RAISE OKAY?#dalek in a tutu tho

I find this shot and this individual so intriguing.

I think this shot is incredibly important as well. They spent too much time on it for it not to be. I just haven’t pu my finger on it yet.

I think this is Hannah, the daughter of the woman who kidnapped the Doctor. I think she was converted like Oswin and is dreaming that she’s a ballerina.

I think she might be Hannah too, but I also think she’s symbolic of Amy’s dual losses…of Melody and of the children she can’t have.

Especially since there was this picture on Melody’s wall at the orphanage, way back in America:

THIS NEEDS TO BE A FIC

YESTERDAY

To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up. – CS Lewis
