Then I remembered they’re sorted by fandom over at my website anyway, so it was a bit pointless.

Dear Typical British Weather,
I do not like it when you start pouring down with rain as soon as I leave school, soaking me, my new clothes, my backpack and my books. I like it even less when you stop the rain the split second I get home. You annoy me and I demand we get some sun tomorrow.

Today in Amnesty International (which calls itself that but hardly ever does anything Amnesty International related) I led a debate about same-sex marriage. As it turned out, we ‘borrowed’ a guy from Christian Union, which was in the room next door to us, and got the Christian guy to debate with us. It was very interesting. Probably the most interesting lunchtime I’ve had in a while. Christian guy was nice, although I really didn’t agree with anything he said. We were supposed to be discussing homosexuality, but it sort of slipped into whether the Bible was out-of-date or not, and stuff along those lines. My friend said to me later that she thought we were a bit rude to him, but I’m not sure.
I didn’t know we actually still had a Christian Union until today. They have more people than us…way more people, we’re down to about seven. It’d be good to get more people involved with AI, although I have a feeling we’d eventually have to rename ourselves. Maybe we could have a debate with the Christian Union guys, since we disagree on everything. ;) Seriously. The only debates I’ve taken part in have been on the Internet. My school’s good with sports clubs, but not so good with all the other clubs.
And that brief peek into my RL is now over, and we return you to your regularly scheduled journal. :)

Went shopping with my cousin. Now own considerably more nice clothes than I did yesterday.
Have spent an hour or so trying to sew the Hufflepuff badge I got at CM6 onto my backpack. Remembered halfway through that I was afraid of needles and did the rest with my eyes half closed. My respect for people who do any sort of sewing has just gone up about 1000 notches.
Must go to bed now.

I HAVE 50 USERPICS I LOVE YOU WORLD.
Needless to say, I got a bit carried away uploading them. Current count is 9 HP, 8 Star Wars, 2 POTC, 2 Holes, 3 Pokemon, 1 Dragonheart, 4 Spiderman, 2 Thunderbirds, and 5 LOTR. I need a life. Which is something I’m not about to get, as CollectorMania 6 is at the weekend and I live practically next door to it and I am going to go and waste all my money on geeky stuff and I am in such a incredibly optimistic mood right now. XD

It is a truth universally acknowedged that when one is walking home with some guy considered to have unfortunate hair, one will encounter a lot of annoying people coming up to you and asking if you’re his girlfriend.
And that concludes my Jane Austin moment for the day.
Today I played football. Girls don’t do this very often. Actually, I’ve never seen a girl playing football at my school, outside of PE lessons. It was an interesting experiment, I guess. Have come to the conclusion I am very, very bad at football.

I’ve got to stop going to the movies, because I inevitably seem to wind up in the fandom afterwards. That being said, the Thunderbirds fandom seems like a really nice one. :)

I just got a really nice review for You Can Do Better Than That. It made my day. :D
Was talking to some kids two years below me about Star Wars yesterday. They thought the originals were better than the prequels but are all looking forward to Episode III.
And then one of them tried to steal my Spiderman keyring.
