Fallout 4 Tours: Starlight Drive-In

We’re now out of the Sanctuary area and have reached Starlight Drive-In, a nice, (mostly) friendly little oasis in the middle of the madness.

Before and after pics:

Quite a lot of people live here, so let’s check out their houses and see what they do all day.

Here’s house number one, the bungalow next to the platform.

I love these houses and they took so long.

Settlers can enjoy a tasty burger over here.

Just don’t ask what’s in ’em, and you’ll be fine.

Lots of Mutfruits are farmed in this area, and traders frequently show up to sell their wares.

The Starlight Drive-in screen greets you with a ‘Hi’!

You get a great view from the top of there, by the way.

Here’s a unnecessary but pretty god rays shot.

Inside the old screen there’s a weird, unsettling room, because I love the Fallout tradition of weird unsettling rooms.

There’s also a store room. See that noticeboard?… I can’t remember which mod it’s from, I’m sorry. Possibly Gruffydd’s Signs and Posters?

Here’s a shot of the pond at night.

Round the other side of the big screen there’s a hotel! All this area was built with Conquest.

Up a floor, there’s two bedrooms! One has a balcony…

And the other one does not.

There’s a second balcony on this floor, where guests can sit and chill and look out over this pool. (I guess the presence of the water pump indicates this is where they get most of their water from.)

And up on the hotel’s roof there’s an extra room, in the middle of a lovely rooftop garden.

That grey and red building you can make out in the background of the second shot is the Drumlin Diner, let’s go look at it, shall we?

Unfortunately even with Conquest you can’t really salvage the Drumlin Diner. I did cover up some of the broken cars with rocks, cos you can’t remove them.

At least it looks a bit greener now.

Let’s head back to the main area…
