Mantis defense squad…because apparently biding your time, facing your abuser (aka the only person you’ve ever known and the one who conditioned you from a young age), knocking out a planet sized god-being, being a damn empath on “let me kill all my children” world, fighting an impossible force in the face of certain death, following a strange new group into a life you know little about, and just being overall accepting and gentle just isn’t bad-ass enough.
