OI BRUV U GOT A LIOCENSE FOR THAT TEMPRACHA??

Once again I’ve got to point out that it costs £0.00 not be to a bitch about the UK experiencing weather that is unseasonably warm for us.

‘Oh boohoo it’s so hot here in Cali!’ ‘Haha that’s cold weather in Australia!’

Yeah great except it’s not California or Australia, it’s Britain, where we’re not prepared for unusual weather and where we don’t have AC in most houses and our buildings are designed for cold weather.

In Britain people – especially the elderly – literally die from unusual heatwaves. Last year I passed out and was violently ill with heatstroke whilst 6 months pregnant due to temperatures that in some countries were considered ‘cool’.

So yes, 23C in APRIL whilst RUNNING is unusually hot weather for the UK and of course it took it’s toll on all the people NOT USED TO RUNNING IN 23C HEAT.

Any place getting weather that is out of the ordinary and that they are unprepared for is a serious matter.

Oh, yes, and someone has actually died during this marathon so. You demons can go away.

Yeah we aren’t overreacting. A healthy young man literally collapsed and died… we just aren’t adapted to hot (or very cold) weather. 90% of the time in the UK it’s very mild.

i dont get it tho bc 70 degrees literally isnt hot…

Yeah to you it isn’t. Idk where you’re from but it was hot enough to make a healthy young man literally collapse and die of heat exhaustion. Personally i’m not that bothered by the heat but again we’re not adapted for heat in the UK. Even the way our buildings are built, most houses are mostly carpeted and built to keep as much heat in as possible. Also the people were running a marathon…

In summer 2013, in the UK the heat was 28 – 30°c (84 – 86 f ) and as of July that year 760 people had died due to the heat. ‘Oh but it’s not that hot, you’re overreacting’… hundreds of people died, is their death just them overreacting to the heat?

People become accustomed to their climate, and if they are suddenly placed in one very different, they will be uncomfortable. People in Britain will overheat in these temperatures the same way people in the Philippines would freeze if suddenly thrust into 50F weather. Sudden changes in climate kill people across the world every time temperature records are broken. And they’re not dying to be dramatic.

Every year, people die in the heatwaves. Elderly and disabled people, mostly. What’s it going to take for you to stop laughing?
