Question Time for Thunderbirds Are Go!

Alright, the first part of series 1 has finished airing in England on ITV. However, still people seem to have a million questions they really want answered! As I feel it was my duty from the start to give you as much information as possible, as objective as possible, it’s time for you to send me those questions and then I’ll make a master post that I will keep updating with answers :)

So please reblog this post with any and all Thunderbirds Are Go! questions you’ve got! I’ll be asking this on the TAG Facebook page as well. Thanks in advance guys! :D

Reckon we’ll see or hear anything about Lucille in the new show?

Medieval AU Thunderbirds Prompt

a-prompt-archive:

I just saw this great artwork of a dragon based on TB3! (Can’t remember the artist unfortunately, so if you know who I’m talking about, please tell them it was awesome.)

So how about a medieval AU where IR has found baby dragons and raised them to help out in times of need! Every Thunderbird is a different type of dragon with the boys as their riders and trainers. Not sure what the dragon’s names would be, but I imagine:

  • 1 would be the fastest and an air elemental.
  • 2 would be an earth elemental and the strongest.
  • 4 would be a water elemental, able to leave the water for short amount of times but not too long.
  • 3 is a fire dragon maybe.
  • 5 is a lightning elemental who stays mostly near the clouds and oversees the land while able to give john a boost to be able to contact his brothers through the other dragons.
  • All of the brothers have a slight psychic connection through the dragons, but John’s got the boost which is why he’s the scout.
  • Brains is the mage who helps them out with certain potions and spells.

This is just the first things that spring to mind. If you feel like the elements of the dragons should somehow be switched, by all means do! (though I’d like to hear about your changes if you don’t mind)

Kayo’s a female Knight.

Penny’s a princess?

I think some of the throwaway lines in that episode might have given a clue about how the world’s now changed due to the war/the aftermath:

First, John says something like, “The meteor’s heading for an unpopulated region of ????-stan.” I didn’t hear the actual name of the country, but I don’t think it was a country that actually exists in real life, so is it a new country and if so why does it have large unpopulated regions…

Second, wasn’t the country they were in called New Geneva? What happened to old Geneva?…
