GOD all these time jumps are really throwing me. So Carol will be having a third baby? (I suspect this is because Kristen Schaal is really pregnant?) Has Jasper been living on his own with Melissa delivering him food for a whole six months? I’m not sure that’s healthy for a nine year old. WHO WAS THAT AT THE END? Pamela and Glenn back maybe?
In all the weird and slightly disgusting excitement we learned Todd’s middle name and saw a picture of Erica’s family, hooray! I wonder if that’s one of Cleo Coleman’s real childhood pictures
I kinda half wonder if they’ll resolve the Jasper plotline by having Pamela and Glenn eventually adopt him
I also kinda half wonder if Carol’s new pregnancy might not end as well as we hope. That sounds awfully dark but no darker than a lot of other stuff this show has done, so I do wonder

I can name at least a few middle-aged-or-older mlm couples in media, but not a single wlw couple. Anyone else know any shows with older wlw? Especially ladies who are comfortably married/in a long-term partnership?
Last Man on Earth has Mary Steenburgen’s (who’s in her sixties I think) character married to a woman who’s in her twenties, the age difference is never even remarked upon
Broadchurch had an older lesbian couple, although the show’s finished now alas
Doctor Who has had a few older WLW (some married, some not) show up as side characters, plus there’s River Song (although who knows if she’s ever coming back…)

“another old friend makes an extended appearance” this season
(spoilers ahead!) I just looked at the official press releases for the next few episodes and 4×14 has this tidbit:

And then comes 4×15, which has the interesting and far more serious-sounding than usual title of “Designated Survivors”:
Tandy wakes up to a shocking discovery that is positive for everyone in the group, but it throws Todd into a spiral
…it’s gotta be Mike, right? On the other hand it does say Designated SurvivorS so maybe my pipe dream of Mike returning hooked up with an actually not-dead Lewis might come true after all but probably not.

That kinda felt like half an episode?? And the Gail-Tandy plot didn’t really go anywhere.
BUT I’m so glad Melissa is still refusing to have a baby. I feel like many other shows would’ve have her cave in for the good of her husband/humanity by now.
