I’m thinking of doing one of those four-part gifsets where you sort non-Harry Potter characters into the Hogwarts houses. In this case, Star Wars characters! BUT WHO GOES WHERE, IS THE QUESTION
(and going just by the movies, not the EU)
Luke I can never see as anything but a Gryffindor
Han is a Slytherin. Don’t know about Chewie, I think he’d be either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff
Leia I actually have no idea about
Anakin is…god, I have no idea about him either. Slytherin, probably, as he does seem to value ambition when it’s wielded for a good cause
Padme is…Hufflepuff? Hard work is certainly one of the things she values…
Obi-Wan I also have no idea about. Probably Hufflepuff?
Finn, I know lots of people like him as a Slytherin, but I think he’s more a Gryffindor?
Rey is…I don’t know. I’m kind of tempted to say Slytherin, though. She has a lot of cunning for a start
Poe I’m pretty sure is a Gryffindor
Kylo is…oh god. Where to start with him. Slytherin?
Qui-Gon is a Ravenclaw. (Finally, a Ravenclaw!)
Owen and Beru are Hufflepuffs
Lando is another difficult one, but I’m actually leaning towards Hufflepuff
Yoda is most likely a Ravenclaw, as is Mace (neither of them really fit in anywhere else either, I think.)
Phasma is a Hufflepuff (she does value loyalty)
WHAT DO YOU THINK WHAT ARE YOUR HEADCANONS LET ME KNOW
-Anakin as Hufflepuff. His greatest ambitions are for other people; he wants to stop loved ones from dying, he wants to free the slaves, he wants to end the war.
Finn- his greatest ambition was initially to get away from the First Order, but he went against his fear to save someone. I view him as a true Griff.
Obi-Wan talks about the Code and honor a lot, and strikes me as Gryffindor as well.
Leia is a Slytherin. She wants to stop the Empire and save the galaxy, putting the goal before her feelings a lot.
Kylo, I kinda see as a Ravenclaw. He wants knowledge and wisdom of the Dark Side, he seems to worship that sort of wisdom.
Aaah, another vote for Hufflepuff Anakin and Slytherin Leia. I like.
Can I put my two cents here? >,<”
Well, I see a Slytherin Obi Wan possibility here. And it’s more towards his tendency to be a cunning negotiator and the fact that he is shrewd user of ‘from a certain perspective’ card.
Anakin could be a Gryffindor yes. Reckless and brave, those are the most obvious traits, and he’s not afraid of doing what he thinks is right despite the rules around him.
And then maybe he chose Gryffindor the same way Harry did? That Anakin was destined for greatness in Slytherin but he chose Gryffindor; Obi Wan stuck to Slytherin because he’s a stickler for the rules and accepted his fate.
And then they could become the wizards you’d least expect them to be once they’re out of Hogwarts. A Dark Wizard from Gryffindor and Phoenix Order member from Slytherin.
Luke would be Gryffindor like his father before him, lol. Because his bravery comes from accepting his fears and not just not being afraid of them.
Kylo/Ben chose to be a Slytherin maybe? Though his granddad is a Gryffindor, the Slytherins were the ones closer to the Dark Arts.
Rey looks good in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, thought I’m leaning more towards Ravenclaw for her intelligence and talent and skills.
please do add your two cents!
That is…a very good argument for Slytherin Obi-Wan. Dang. I sort of like to think now that he was a Hufflepuff who became a Slytherin in later life(/death). But he definitely straddles the line in places.
I like how EVERYONE has sorted Luke in Gryffindor, heh. And I’m very sold on Rey as Ravenclaw now.
