spider-man 3 was not even that bad
There were some not-great decisions made in the making of it, I’ll grant that anyday (which I why I hope one day some sort of director’s cut comes to light) but – well, you know that popular Tumblr post going around that basically says ‘I don’t care how terrible your plot is as long as I care about the characters, give me characters I care about and the rest is negotiable?‘ That’s pretty much how I feel about Spider-Man 3.

For all the issues I have with Gwen’s death, I love the period after where Peter is trying to deal and MJ is trying to help while being way way way out of her emotional depth and knowing that she is and trying anyway.

Gosh, these are all so sketchy. D:I always liked Gwen and Mary Jane’s friendship, even though I’m not such an avid reader of Spider-man and that might have changed a bit since last I checked. (Retcons. Retcons everywhere.) I just really like it when women who both happen to like the same guy aren’t at each other’s throats all the time.
