I’m severely disabled and I need some help immediately with $810 in payments for home care / patient transport / other essentials.
ETA: I’ve received $180 so far. There are $630 left to raise.
I’m a 21 y/o woman and I’m physically disabled; it’s completely impossible for me to sit up or walk without causing grave physical harm. See: @fundraiser-evidence. As a result, I need daily home care (abt $30/hr) and can only travel through paramedic transport ($200/week instalments for invoices of approx $2000 per specialist appointment); these are beyond what I can afford with my $336/week social security payment.
There are dire consequences if financial constraints prevent me from accessing home care and paramedic transport. If I don’t get home care, it’d be impossible to maintain a basic level of cleanliness and dignity. If I don’t keep paying my paramedic invoice instalments, I lose access to transport; this could leave me stranded in a dangerous environment if I meet someone who mistreats me for being disabled… which has happened on 3 times in the past 12 months. It’s been difficult to get enough donations this week and I’m concerned that I won’t be able to access these essential services.
These expenses over the next two days add up to $810… EDIT: I had hoped to raise the amount by the bank’s closing time yesterday/Friday but it wasn’t possible. I still need this rather urgently. Also, to condense this post, I’ve put the list of expenses on a separate post. Some of these have been listed on previous donation posts but I didn’t manage to raise enough to cover them. this post re-iterates the amounts I have left to raise.

I’m in DIRE need of medical attention right now. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism last month and I need to see a specialist to get medication and control my thyroid. I also have the symptoms of thyroid cancer. In America, we have to pay for all of our medical visits and treatment. I haven’t been able to hold a job because of the pain this condition puts me in. PLEASE consider donating to my cause. I am in dire need of these visits.
I’ve also been informed I need to have an Endometrial Biopsy. That’s a procedure where they scrape lining from your uterus. On top of that I need a sleep study as well. When I sleep at night I wake up unable to breathe.

As some of you might already know, my parents and brothers were both immigrants from Mexico. In 2010, my father was caught by immigration and spent a 1-2 months in prison. He was allowed to come back into the U.S until his court date (which has been moved back every year – his court is supposed to be in 2018 now).
Every year, my family has to come up with about $500 so my dad can buy an official permit to work in the United States. He also has to renew his license every year, and we have lawyers to pay to help my dads case.
Now, my brothers and my mom are legal residents of the United States. But my dad isn’t.
Lately, my dad’s business hasn’t been doing so well. We really haven’t had too much money to spend on things that aren’t necessary. But we can live without material things. I can’t live without my dad. If he’s caught with an expired license or without a working permit, things could go badly.
So I’m asking you all for help! Whether it’s a reblog or a donation, whatever you can muster is perfectly fine. The end goal of this would be to pay off my dad’s fees to renew his license and his permit.

I have a physical disability that completely confines to me to my bed, which means I have to pay people to help me with anything that requires any amount of physical strength or leaving the bed at all. There were some unexpectedly high home care/assistance and food costs in the past week, so now I don’t have any money left except for amounts set aside for legal costs etc. I need some help.
The amount that I need to raise for rent, home care, transport, and groceries etc. this week is $1590 and I’ve listed the specific payments on this linked post (updated cost explained here). Getting assistance is particularly important this week because a lot of it is specifically to help me with trying to get to my neurologist’s appointment on 21st July. I have had no consultations for 8 months because of a bad financial situation and my condition is rapidly getting worse. I’m terrified about what this will mean for me if I continue to have no access to specialist medical care.
I need to raise most of the $1590 by the end of today (5PM Monday AEST or 3AM Monday EST), so that I can then focus on raising money for bond and any potential upfront transport costs. I know this is a large amount of money and there’s not a lot of time. I do genuinely need to pay these things because I’m dependent on other people’s assistance and I’m almost completely isolated from unpaid support. Any amount would help, donations of $5 or $1 all add up and will really help me.
