Pokèmon GO BIG update
Gen 2 (Johto) will be available in December 2016!
The app updates every two weeks (it just did today July 20th) these updates are to fix bugs, and most notably:
Pidgey/Rattata over spawning.
XP distribution.
And at some point, add Trading.“Rare” pokèmon will be more common in areas were there are a lot of players. (I.E. 50 people in one spot = Beedrill will appear more often ect.)
We also have information on how to obtain Legendary Pokémon:
Teams will compete in certain areas for a legendary Bird. The winning team will receive the Legendary Bird that corresponds with the team they chose and game. HOWEVER, only players present at the location will receive that Pokémon.
This last bit is unconfirmed, but apparently Niantic will be adding a new Gen every six months. If this is accurate, then we can expect Gen 3 in June 2017.
You mean the Pidgey and Rattata weren’t SUPPOSED to spawn that much??
And I hope they fix the thing where everything’s three footprints, whether it’s fifty feet away or on the other side of the Pacific Ocean.
