well someone on reddit claims to work for marvel. In secret wars some characters are confirmed to have not made it onto that lifeboat. And some people asked about specific characters who didn’t make it.

MJ was confirmed to have not made it. So basically 616 MJ is dead and/OR possibly merged “with someone else”–could be another version of MJ or a completely different character or even a brand new MJ considering Marvel is essentially rebooting the universe.

Like I’m taking it with a grain of salt considering it’s reddit but at the same time I wouldn’t be shocked if it were true cause it sounds like something Marvel would do.

Kamala is a different kind of feminism. She isn’t the traditional female superhero, and is nothing like Carol Danvers. Most female superheroes embody the ‘perfect woman’, and Kamala is more the speed of the average girl.

Kamala is a complex teenage girl, coming from a Muslim family, and has to deal with being ostracized by her classmates. Though she respects her faith and family, she still questions her traditions.

She wants to be a superhero. She wants to be part of the lives of her favorite heroes , wants team ups, and wants to be great. And she’s always learning how to be better.

And so we love her, because Kamala is a different kind of superhero, trying to be someone special, but at the same time stay true to herself and her family.

how does marvel name its universes? like, 616? 1610?? TRN123??? are they just random numbers?

I think they’re just random numbers! (I know that 616 is the main one though, and 1610 I think proooobably is the Ultimate one?)

It’s based on the year and the month it came out for the first few. So 616 is because the first issue of the Fantastic Four came out in June 1961. Similarly, Earth 811, the Days of Future Past Earth was created in January 1981. Marvel eventually abondoned that, but most of the first few au worlds follow that numbering scheme. (up to the mid 90s at least)
