i like being in the les mis fandom bc to appreciate the story properly you have to understand that people who do bad things or think bad things or say bad things are on a journey and can better themselves

One of the saddest things I find about the barricade is actually Grantaire sleeping – something about his inability to participate, his inability to leave, and all of the nebulous emotions surrounding that gets to me. and it has been said to death that Grantaire’s imperfection is more representative of a humanity we can identify with, but I mean, there’s truth in it. idk. have a sad.
I had an idea for something much more elaborate and interesting, but given that I came up with it last week, it really wasn’t feasible. But I wanted to do something, at least! I don’t think I’ve enjoyed myself more in a fandom in a very long time, even if I am new around the block. You’re all lovely. <3
