the two most disgusting pieces of news i have heard this week that i need people outside the uk to hear:
- uk armed forces will be exempt from human rights laws. you read that right. the tories want to “protect” soldiers from investigations into non-conflict-related violence abroad
- corporations now have to list all their foreign workers. companies with “abnormal” numbers of non-british employees will be penalised
our country is slipping back to the far-right and it’s terrifying
I think the second one is starting to come off the table, but I don’t know about the first. :(
