The particular species of the rhetorical position of “misanthropy” that expresses itself through overpopulation and Mathusian resource discourses is a cornerstone of modern eugenics movements. Movements with a cheap fixation on the constructed, racialized, “overpopulated third world” as a drain on resources of the developed western world& its standard of living without any critical thought as to how capital+colonialism continually underlies the issues that they lazily blame on the number of children born to the “other”, be that some stereotyped destitute in Africa or stereotyped low-class domestic redneck, or whatever else. You’re an anarchist, man, use ya brains. This isn’t some liberal choice prescriptivism about whether you personally procreate, this is about how easy sloganeering like what comes out of pseudointellectual zero-populationists pretty seamlessly integrates into unsavory neoliberal ideology like third world imperialism/exotification and eugenics.

And yeah, people who disparage minorities or certain countries by using family status are jokes who have probably never left the county they were born in.
I think it might’ve been easier to say something like “fuck people who genuinely don’t care about their fellow humans or anyone’s right to be allowed basic fundamentals to live, be safe, and healthy“, instead of “fuck people who hate kids” so nothing gets taken out of context for laymen who throw the word “hate” around casually, like me.
