Hey, those spoilers? Those ones? Yeah, I was pondering them and came up with this.

Doctor Who Series Six (Six-Seven?): A Detailed Analysis

Death!
First of all…I don’t think either Amy or Rory will die, because of Moffat mentioning, in one of the other DWMs, that they’re in all thirteen episodes. Besides, I’m pretty sure there’s a no-killing-companions rule in place now. Both of them have come back from the dead, anyway!

And as for the Amy/Rory relationship, I am positive that there won’t be a divorce storyline, partly because it would be pointless (why spend all that time getting them together) and partly because I can’t see it happening on a show so many children watch, because divorce is a pretty major thing when you’re young.

Admittedly-
“you will gasp in astonishment at the true nature of his relationship with Amy Pond…”
sounds a bit like someone’s going to have an affair, but…there’s a lot of other things it could be. Perhaps Amy’s remembering the Doctor back
did something to her or him or the universe. Maybe whatever the latest Big Bad is is Amy’s fault?

Stumbles to the brink! So he might not actually do it, whatever it is? Noooo, Rory!

All this stuff put together sounds like Rory finds Amy and the Doctor in a compromising position, and in his anger nearly does (or does) something to put the Doctor in danger, but…

I think it’s more likely he does something unwittingly. He’s tricked by someone he thinks he can trust, or something, or thinks he’s doing something good. Because, well, we know Rory- he forgave Amy for her pre-wedding snog, he guarded her for nearly two thousand years, I can’t buy him ever intentionally hurting her. Seriously, it’s a bit of a betrayal of the character if he does.

Okay, this one’s got me. Is it River? Because he doesn’t really know her yet. Amy? Might be. Might possibly be Rory? That might be another hint that he steps towards the Dark Side, oh noes.

My money’s on Amy, because the “revelation” and the “true nature of his relationship with Amy” might be the same thing.

River Song!

The Doctor’s wife? Seriously, she’s already a time-travelling gun-toting archology professor who even Daleks are scared of, what more can they do with her? Well, actually…

My Theory at the moment is that Amy and Rory are the ancestors of River…she isn’t their daughter, but their great-great-great-something granddaughter,
and that’s the Big Revelation. I have no evidence whatsoever for this, except that Amy and River have similar shoes:

DO YOU SEE IT NOW, TELL ME YOU SEE IT!

Also both have water-related names (Pond and River). Which I’m sure means nothing (we’ve also had a Lake), but anyway.

And it sort of covers everything…the revelation about River and about Doctor/Amy. Because he’d have snogged his great-great-great grandmother-in-law, which would weird him (and her!) out. Anyway…I’m not even sure I’d like this to take place, and I’m sure it won’t, but I thought I’d share it with the world anyway.

Lastly! I’m sure things will turn out ok no matter what we speculate. Who would have thought that Amy would decide to marry Rory and he would die and be eaten by a crack in time and she’d forget him and he’d become a plastic Roman and guard her almost-dead body for centuries and the Doctor would ride this Pandorica thingy into the exploded TARDIS saving the world and making everyone forget him and then Amy would bring him back? No-one, that’s who!
