You have to admire her audacity, if nothing else.

Literally my favourite thing about Rogue One is that it makes the opening of New Hope so funny. Like, Vader has followed Leia from a planet he just blew up seconds ago and pursued her across the galaxy and then she’s just like: ‘I’m on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan’

Vader: You’re a rebel. I just had a fight with your entire rebel fleet and followed you here. Straight from the rebels. Of which you are a part

Leia: *dramatic gasp* rebel? Me???  I was just passing through. Diplomatically. Thought it was a five-space-ship pile-up or something going on there…

The artist is actually two people; twin sisters,

Samantha & Consuelo, who work as a team on comics and illustrations. And they’re Italian. It seems Italy has quite a few anidala fans who are artistically talented. :) 

I hope they don’t mind me showcasing one of their beautiful paintings. The one I’m posting, “I know you’d come back, my Ani.” is not the only Star Wars piece, there is another fantastic and colorful work titled “Skywalker Family,” posted to their joint Instagram account. 

Also, I apologize I had to cut this post in half, I just didn’t want the beautiful detail lost

because of tumblr’s 540 x 810 size restriction.
