Inside the book it’s stuffed with goodies. For an A/P fangirl I’m going crazy because I’ve counted at least seven potential illustrations from just what I could see, and a sticker set with an adorable A/P image. When I can afford this book I’m ordering it a.s.a.p and will then scan every cute thing inside and post them. For now, you can enjoy the sneek peeks of what I could gather on the net. Also, you might be interested in the artist, Gurihiru, his portfolio includes doing a number of books for the Avatar series. I found him by accident searching the book on google, lucky me!
Smart product developed by Kelli Anderson is a pop-up book featuring a functional folding cardboard pinhole camera:
This is a working camera within a pop-up book.
It concisely explains—and actively demonstrates—how a
structure as humble as a folded piece of paper can tap into the
intrinsic properties of light to produce a photograph.
The book includes:
– a piece of paper folded into a working 4×5″ camera
– a lightproof bag
– 5 sheets of photo-paper “film”
– development instructions (from complete DIY to “outsource it”)
– a fancy foil-stamped cover that will look good on your shelf!
– a satisfying demonstration of the connection between design & science / structures & functions
