since this discussion is popping up again bc of the trailer
guys. IT MAKES SENSE that natasha is on tony’s side. her whole arc in the mcu has been about accountability and making it right (“i’ve got red in my ledger”). yes she and cap are friends but that means shit in civil war bc that’s exactly the point!!!! it’s friends turning on friends!!!! nat is tight with fury, she stood with shield, it makes sense she’d go for the by-the-book side. and it doesn’t mean she’s gonna be a spy for cap’s side either. like. for how her belief system was built in the movies this is 100% in character.
