- Jack Harkness figured out Rose was still alive while the Doctor was still too shellshocked to think clearly.
- Jack Harkness figured out the Doctor’s plan for the Daleks with the barest hints from the Doctor.
- Jack Harkness used his charisma to not only lead himself into certain death, but a group of others, just to buy the Doctor sometime without even a moment of hesitation.
- Jack Harkness faced his death bravely, with a smart-ass remark and open arms.
- Jack Harkness was violated and altered by the Doctor’s favourite companion, then left behind in his victimized state in a satellite full of corpses of those he couldn’t save.
- Jack Harkness waited hundreds of years for the Doctor, only to be sneered at like a piece of shit the Doctor had stepped in.
- Jack Harkness, despite being treated like shit, despite being volunteered to step into the agony of a burning chamber of radiation, despite all the deaths he’d suffered waiting for the Doctor, still never hesitated once to follow him into a year of torture where he would die over 1,000 times through torture on no more than a single look.
