That ‘Ice King’ we see at the end of Graybles 1000+ is probably not Simon. Which means that at some point, in some way, Simon will no longer be the Ice King.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to end all well for him, of course, but hey, at least we know now that Simon won’t have to be the Ice King for another 1000 years
So, the four places Cuber visits, and three of his four graybles (the first and last were the same one, you owe us Cuber!) were all associated with people in the opening theme: Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, and Finn and Jake.
In fact, Cuber visits these four places in reverse order to the opening.
i like this!! i was sorta leaning into something like that, or that betty just plain made the crown into a separate entity from simon! either way it’s cool to see how the endgame came out!!
