Jak 3
Okay, I’m not really a video gamer. I used to be, sort of…but then I just stopped. Not enough time, or something (and because we only have one PS2 to share between three kids). But my brother got Jak 3 for Christmas, and when he’d finished he showed me all the movies, and I already knew the story because I’d seen all the Jak & Daxter and Jak II movies too, so I thought it was actually all quite interesting, and went looking to see if there was a fandom anywhere…
Am I the only one who thinks that the ‘twist ending’ was actually quite clever? I think there are a few hints towards it…I can’t remember exactly what they were…was it something Seem said at some point? Anyway, I liked it. Probably because I think there actually are myths and legends and things where the gods are more human (or Ottsel, in this case :p) than god-like and glowy, and probably aren’t beyond ‘fluffing up the myth a little’. :p Besides, the Ottsels actually were all powerful, weren’t they…and animal-gods are used quite often. I think. Yes, I’m actually somewhat ignorant of this sort of thing. ;)
…And didn’t the Ottsel Leader look like an Ewok? :P
Besides, I don’t think the Jak games ever really took themselves seriously, let’s face it. ;P
And yes, I will play the games very soon, I promise!

Am bored, am tired, am likely to fail exams, Internet fandom is as messed up as real life but without the bad weather, and I haven’t updated this journal for god knows how long. Found this on fernwithy’s LJ (she goes to some of the same message boards as me) and thought it would be fun. So many questions… Am sixteen years old today. Didn’t meet anyone, but bought a lot of stuff. Dran you, PT bashers on the radio. Where’ve all the Sirius fans gone? There are always, always, always people to talk to. Saw Remus and Sirius in London. Went shopping with my cousin. A bunch of HP icons. A multi-fandom icon post, the first one in a while.
