I think if they don’t use Harry to threaten Peter and MJ’s relationship, they might actually make him gay in a blink-and-you-miss-it, easter egg sort of way. You could still have Norman’s shame over Harry not being ~a real man~, especially if he’s obsessed with having an heir.
However, if they do make Harry gay, they probably won’t kill him for fear of being accused of burying their gays (…). Because I wouldn’t be surprised if Harry’s storyline as “i’m deadly sick but the symbiote will me heal me up” ended up with Harry dying, whether he’s sacrificing himself or he can’t survive without the symbiote (I don’t believe they’ll keep it).
I really, really hope this will happen. (Including the non-death part.) My hopes aren’t high, but like… man, we are looooong overdue an adaption that makes Harry gay or bi.
