There’s a lot to untangle regarding Rowling and Harry Potter. My daughter takes a lot of comfort from tales of magic and Harry Potter is something she loves. I can never support transphobia, but how do I tell my daughter she can no longer enjoy something that’s brought her a lot of joy over the years?

Man that must be hard, sorry to hear that. It’s had such a huge knock-on effect. I have lots of good memories that have nothing to do with JK Rowling tied up in Harry Potter, I don’t want to let them go either. At least I know I won’t actually be giving her any money again?
