Whatever happens, these people will never learn a fucking thing. There would be some catharsis in seeing a flicker of new information dawn on them for the first time in 50 years and say ‘huh, this isn’t like I thought.’ Instead they’ll just get more rabid about brown people, China, the French, young lefties, whatever it takes to never reconsider anything.
