So this is VERY disappointing. I was sort of looking forward to this, in a nervous sort of way, but…
Well, this changes things a lot. I hope we find out at some point exactly what’s gone on here.
I suppose now is a good time to post a link to this really good (as far as I know, I don’t actually know of most these folks) fancast I saw on Reddit. In terms of looks alone I love it… (I do think Gemma Chan would make a better Kyoshi than anyone else though. I dunno why.)

I know I’m super disappointed and unlikely to watch it unless word gets around that it wasn’t as bad as I’m thinking it’s going to be now. Because if the original creators can’t get them to do it right, I don’t know what help anyone they hired is going to do, unfortunately. Super bummed.

My fear now is that it’ll be a repeat of that terrible terrible live action movie (which I have not seen.) :(
